Fairhaven Preschool
Our program’s vision is to provide positive experiences that support children and families, encourage growth and development leading to independence, and to help children reach their full potential.
The Fairhaven School Preschool Program is operated by the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Our goal is to to offer uplifting experiences that support both children and families. This program aims to foster growth and development, promote independence, and assist children in realizing their full potential.
Fairhaven Preschool provides education to children, ages 3-5, who receive services through an individualized education program (IEP) and those who do not. It is a full-day integrated program that runs five days per week unless there is a specified holiday or program day off.

Students receive a well-balanced education where developmental and academic skills are enhanced. We work to learn how to cope with our emotions, how to share and take turns, how to color and draw, how to climb and run, and many other age-appropriate preschool skills.
We also provide field trips, parent-teacher conferences, holiday programming, classroom parties and activities, and a preschool graduation ceremony.
All students are provided nap time or quiet time at midday to help with the stamina needed for a full day of fun and learning. We provide snacks and hot lunch options daily.
